Tonight, on a Very Special Blog Post…

I grew to tolerate and –gasp– like Shake it Up! ! And both plots! With an annoying guest star! :O

First, on Good Luck Charlie, Gabe tries to befriend the new neighbor who has a crush on Teddy. Teddy still isn’t over Spencer, to the point of cyber stalking. And the new neighbor forces Teddy to date him. New neighbor is 11 years old, and after they ‘go out’ she realizes she needs someone who’s good to her, not just attractive. Or something like that. I was playing The Sims 3, lol. So NN annoyed me, and I was annoyed that he was on Shake it Up! next. But then…

Then, CC, aka Bella Thorne, needs tutoring to stay on the show. She gets tutored by NN from Good Luck Charlie. He’s more or less playing the same character, because they’re both portrayed as upper class brats who speak with proper grammar. Anyway, it’s not working and then he explains it to her with dancing terms. And she learns! But then Annoying Little Brother ruins things by making NN ‘boyish’. But have no fear, because Rocky offers to tutor! NN says she can’t because… CC has dyslexia! And it was followed by a real, heartwarming/tearjerker conversation between CC and Rocky. Without Disney hamming it up, or spoiling it in commercials. I was impressed. And the B plot was also good. Foreign Twin Girl wants to go on a date, and Guy from Camp Rock takes her out. Okay, so Foreign Twin Boy had to pay GfCR to take FTG out, but still. And eventually, the couple grew to like each other. And they had a nice time. I’m still confused on why she isn’t a part of the main cast.

The Sonny with a Chance episode was alright. It had Joe Jonas (Ouch!) and Sterling Knight on, too, which was odd, because it was a So Random! Holiday Special.

I heard that Disney isn’t going to have as much princess movies after Tangled. I read that they have a bunch of ‘boy movies’ planned out for the next few years, and because The Princess and the Frog screwed up at the box office, they feel that nobody wants to see princesses anymore. I think it’s weird, because there’s no way Cinderella and friends didn’t help the Mouse House, so it’s odd to see them shoo away a perfectly good franchise, especially with Miley Cyrus leaving. I’m not saying Disney shouldn’t explore with different movies, but if their females are going to start looking like Bratz dolls than Barbies… yikes. Then again, I’m a male teen, so… yeah.

And ugh, school tomorrow. :(

An Interesting Correlation

This month, I had the least amount of school days (Or it’s tied with February, IIRC). But… I’ve had the least amount of blog posts since… April? And even then, I made the blog on the last day of April, so… yeah. I know blogging isn’t about hits, comments, followers, and posts, but I feel like a bum for being lazy post-wise, especially with my 2 long weekends.

Then again, I was on Tumblr a lot. Tumblr is… I don’t know how to explain it. It’s basically if Twitter and Blogger had a baby. It has blogging, but it’s not as ‘serious’ or wordy as Blogger, and it’s not just ‘@microsoftsam happy birthday! #ihadtoastforbreakfast’ or whatever, like Twitter is. There are fan blogs, GIFs, memes, photography, nostalgia blogs…. and a lot more. It even got into a fight with 4chan. Yeah. :P I probably shouldn’t even be writing about it because the first rule of Tumblr is don’t tell others about it, like the fight club (I think it was that movie, right?). One of the cool stuff about it is how it’s underrated and it’s not filled with annoying people. But yeah. I can’t really describe it. It’s just addictive. :P Oh, and I just complain about school and stuff there to spare you guys so yeah.

But yeah. Since I finally finished my homework, I could probably make a post or two today. There’s a lot of interesting stuff to write about, in my eyes, anyway.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you have a great day!

And stay safe if you’re going to go shopping tomorrow. :)

image  My favorite Thanksgiving Friends episode was probably… the season 9 one. But I’ve only seen 1, 7, 8, 9, and 10, so yeah. :P Season 9 sucked though. Ross and Rachel acted really stupid then, and Christina Applegate( Who I think turns 39 today :D Happy birthday, Christina!) was the only person that saved it. Oh, and the finale was good, too.

Pictures are from Google.

Helium Cartoon Characters in the Sky!

I still need title ideas. :P Hi everyone! How was your Wednesday? Mine went well. The Practice SATs were a nice way to not have my day ruined by jerks lol :P.

I have to rake leaves today –_– and then I have to do my homework. But maybe I’ll get some simming done? I want to play Wii Sports this break, but I also want to write some legacy chapters.

YoVille and FarmVille are impressing me. YoVille has added levels after 50, and Farmville has a new and organized market, as well as an innovative tree mastery system. Good job, Zynga!

Happy Day-Before-Thanksgiving! If you want to help those in need this holiday weekend, here are some links you could click, and some rich people donate to those causes based on clicks:

Break dancing Snowmen

Remember how a while back I said I was going to put random titles when I didn’t know what to put? Well, you just witnessed one of them. :P

How has my life been since my last update post thing?

I was kinda sick last week. Well, my voice went away, then it turned into a cough, but now I’m fine. :)

I’m taking a pre-SAT Practice test thing tomorrow, so technically, I don’t have any homework for tomorrow. :) But I’ll probably do some long term stuff.

My Grandma came back from California last night… at like 11:45. But she came home at like 1:30 in the morning so I saw her when I came home today.

School? Ugh, I feel so stressed out and nervous now.

  • In photo, we need to have 3 prints for this project, and I had 3, but 1 of them got lost, and the other two suck. :( And I’m like… the most behind in my class. D: And I don’t have class until Monday so I reeeaaaally hope I don’t get a bad grade. I mean, I ask for help, and technically, he never told us the due date, so I might be safe? And I always work my a$$ off in that class, so maybe he’ll be nice-ish? If I don’t finish the project by next Tuesday/Wednesday then I plan on staying after a lot, until he just gets sick of me and goes like 'Okay, you got the A! Now, go home!”, okay, so that won’t happen, but it won’t hurt to stay after. This was a really long run on.
  • AP USH I- Our teacher yelled at our class of 28 students because 5 or 6 students talked a lot. Now, we have a quiz on the Constitution(That’s the one with the Amendments, right? :P) and answer like 30 questions for tomorrow. But I’m not going to be in class tomorrow, so I have until next Monday to finish! :D

I’m starting to want Late Night. It looks so pretty and fun.

Fran Drescher’s talk show is this Friday! I’m probably gonna watch it. I hope it doesn’t get cancelled! And DWTS tonight: Will Bristol win? I hope not. I don’t watch, but I read AE’s blog enough to know she doesn’t belong there.

Oh, and Dan Schneider replied on his blog. He was like ‘Oh yeah, my team deleted your comments because it’s affiliated with Nickelodeon and little kiddies go on. I didn’t make the ads. But sorry, the next special will be bigger, better, and answer questions!”. Bull.

In other news, Miley Cyrus is a legal, 18 year old adult today. Let’s see the clothes fly off now [/sarcasm]. *eyeroll*

So, how was your… day/week/whatever?

The Future of Kids’ TV

If you visit DanWARP, Dan Schneider’s blog, you’ll see fans going rabid over last night’s episode. And Dan did what a responsible adult would do… delete comments and insist that nothing is going wrong. Mr.Schneider, you sir, are a jerk. So it looks like a lot of people won’t watch iCarly, and later on, Victorious, anymore.

On Disney, Hannah Montana and Wizards of Waverly Place are ending, Jonas LA got cancelled ended, and Sonny with a Chance… well, Demi’s in rehab. Oh, and Suite Life has a movie coming out, as well as cancellation rumors… so =|. So the future of kid’s television, or rather Disney and Nickelodeon, looks odd.

  • Big Time Rush. They look like a better alternative to the Jonas brothers. I’m not saying they’re musical geniuses, but they have fun, catchy songs you’d expect from Nickelodeon. Not fake melodrama like Disney has with Jonas. They don’t really take themselves seriously, which I like. And it’s made by the Ned’s Declassified people, so that’s also nice. I mean, I don’t really go out of my way to watch it, but it’s better than I thought it would be, and I just keep it on if nothing else is on TV. But… it’s on season 2 already, and it’s not made by Schneider’s Bakery, so Nickelodeon will probably cut it sooner than other SB shows (SB? Spongebob? Yeah, something tells me that’s not just a coincidence). It’s also making everything that moves on Nickelodeon pump out CDs, singles, videos and concerts, but it hasn’t bothered me that much… yet.
  • Good Luck Charlie. I like it because it’s more TGIF than Disney Channel, but that probably means the Mouse House will axe them quick. They have a movie coming out (Made for TV, but hey, SB has like 6 iCarly ‘movies’!), so that should be okay. I hope Mia, AKA Charlie, grows up normally. Oh, and they already are working on season 2… but the episodes are going out really slow.
  • Shake it Up! looks like it’s here to stay for a while. I think it’s too annoying to watch so far, but I know by next year I’ll watch it, so I’ll just wait for more episodes or something. I hope their acting improves.
  • Victorious: Do they really only have 5 episodes? Seriously, I’ve seen like only 5 episodes of it because those are the ONLY ones Nickelodeon shows. It feels like Dan knows his show is going to be successful, so he’s slacking on the quality. And it’s working. Victoria Justice is everywhere, and the script isn’t that good.
  • Disney has like… two new shows planned. ANT Farm, which is about a girl who goes to a performing arts school, more or less. People complain that China McClain, the main actress on ANT Farm, is African American, and that the show is called ANT Farm, now ‘[name] high’. The other one, Madison High, is basically Glee with Disney music. And younger kids. I smell failure.

On the other hand… I heard ABCFamily is having a Raven show? That sounds nice.

TV

This week, a lot has happened in my world of television. Okay, so what I watch is not at all versatile and either tween comedies, 90’s sitcoms, or ‘pretty people in New York’ shows, but still, I have Yahoo! as my homepage, and I follow AE’s blog for DWTS updates… even if I don’t watch it at all.

  1. Total Drama World Tour. So it was Cody vs Alejandro vs Heather. Cody was out before the first commercial break. Courtney acted like a b!tch from my private school. It reminded me of those capture-the-flag days in gym when I’d be told to move because they were girls, and if I didn’t let them pass, they’d either make it look like I pushed kicked raped them. I remember I got one of them out once, but she kept moving, so I just tapped her shoulder and guess what? HER EXTENSIONS CAME OUT. And I got in trouble because that b!tch could fake cry and her parents ‘donated’ a lot. Private schools suck. But yeah, where was I? So Courtney was like ‘Let. Us. MOVE.’ and then Cody and Harold were like no and then she was either kicked or stabbed Harold in the privates. o.O And ugh, she’s been a camera whore since season 2. And this season she got eliminated at 7th/6th place and she STILL was in like most of the episodes after. Ugh. So where was I? Oh yeah. So Heather won. And then lost the money because of Ezekiel-in-Name-Only. Then everyone got burned. And next season has a new cast? Thanks a lot, EiNO! Let’s see how Courtney, Duncan and Owen will sneak on to the show now. The alternate ending was irritating, so I’m happy that Heather ‘legitimately’ won. Fun fact: She’s the first girl and minority winner of Total Drama.
  2. iCarly: iStart a Fan War. So the trio goes to some web convention. Spencer tags along. I’ll save you one hour and sum up what really happened. Jack Black vs Jerry Trainer. Ugh. It was them being stupid and basically fighting hugging and shouting stupid chants. The trio got into a fight with their fans about who’s dating whom and then the fans got into a huuuugeeee fight. And then Carly just yelled at everyone and said ‘You’re all creeps for trying to pair us up. iCarly is about the comedy lololol’. And then Gibby and family got lost. The Gibby parts were funny, but it wasn’t iCarly; it felt more like some weird spinoff. It’s obvious Gibby and his brother are going to continue the Schneider-cy once iCarly ends. But yeah. I hate how Dan Schneider killed off any relationship growth between the characters and said we’re stupid for wanting anything because iCarly has ‘such fine and groundbreaking humor’. I mean, it’s better than half the things on Disney, but sometimes it feels like a glorified YouTube account. And when did Jack Black become so annoying? I liked School of Rock and I remember tolerating the few Kids Choice Awards he hosted but good gosh I can’t stand him and Jerry Trainer in the same room. The Zoey 101 and Drake and Josh reference/crossovers were nice at first, then they got annoying. But yeah, I hated how Dan just called all of his viewers, AKA his paycheck, nerds who don’t have anything else to do who hate his comedic skills and only care about relationships. And he also groups us iCarly viewers with those Dungeons and Dragons basement dwellers that treat MMPORGs religiously. And a lot of people on his blog agreed with me. I hated how at first it looked like a major episode of the show, but as the premiere date came closer, it became ‘featuring Jack Black!’ and it ended up as… a pointless filler episode where Dan Schneider basically verbally abused his fans.
  3. Dancing with the Stars: How is Bristol still on? Ugh. Sure, people might be voting for her based on improvement, but I read AE’s blog post… so yeah. I remember reading someone wrote this once: “On DWTS, people are supposed to lose weight as a result of training. How do we know Bristol doesn’t deserve to last this long? She hasn’t trained at all, because every week she gets bigger and bigger. Seriously, she could just sit down and eat fried chicken on the floor and her partner could frolic around her and she’d still last’. Okay, so it’s a little paraphrased, but honestly, someone else wrote that! I mean, I don’t watch DWTS, but when she sent home like, what, 5 people home, shouldn’t that set someone’s radar off? I agree with Joy Behar on BP: “On one hand, I’m happy that she’s might win because it would make the Palins happy and not run for anything ever again. But on the other hand, what if a dancing show is just the start? What if they’re convinced that America wants to see more of them? If Bristol won a dancing show, how would they do during an actual election?”.

Cloudy with a Chance

If you haven’t heard the news yet, Demi Lovato is getting treatment for ‘emotional and personal issues’. I heard that she use to cut herself in 2008. And although her show got picked up for a third season, it’s apparently going to just be like All That, or Saturday Night Live for preteens. And without Demi. You know, so Demi can focus on her personal issues.

I, personally, feel appalled by Disney’s decision. No, I’m not saying they shouldn’t give poor Demi a break, but really? The show is called Sonny with a Chance. Not So Random! or anything. And only So Random skits means no Chad Dylan Cooper and I’ve read a lot of comments filled with people going like ‘Oh, I only watch the show for CDC’ and everything, so the show will probably lose viewers, and get cancelled, once Demi feels better. And how will that make her feel, Disney? Besides, they’re just being insensitive to her. Instead of just having a hiatus, or some kind of plot within the show for her absence, they decide to show her that she’s essentially worthless to the show and they could replace her like that.

This is all Disney’s fault, anyway. If the Mouse House never made her become famous so fast, she’d have a transition to fame, and not breakdown and everything. From the first Camp Rock promotion I saw in April 2008 until a few weeks ago, Disney included Demi everywhere, and on everything. They didn’t let her ‘grow on’ to us, or anything, but instead, they handed her to us, and said ‘Here’s our new product. Like it or leave it.’ At least the HSM kids and Miley were unexpected successes, but now, everything on Disney is being marketed as the next big thing. I mean, Selena and the Twins also had transitions, but things aren’t looking too good for Bridgette Mendler or the Shake it Up! girls’ futures if Disney keeps this up. Besides, even if people do buy their products, once they leave Disney, nobody will take them seriously. At least Zac Efron is kind of a serious actor… or something like that. And Ashley Tisdale has a show on CW, as well as another HSM coming out next year. Oh, and Monique Coleman turned…. 30 today! That’s older than… Britney Spears, Lady GaGa, Katy Perry, Ke$ha, Cory Monteith, and Cobie Smudlers?!!?! I’m not calling Monique old, I’m just criticizing Disney for not picking someone who, you know, isn’t 30. Then again, Jason Earles is like 33….

Get well soon, Demi!

This Needs a Title

Thank you ILovetheSims7 for gifting us the Spiky and Suave hairstyle. :) SS and I appreciate it! :D

My laptop cooler broke… and my laptop already shut down from the heat twice last night. :/

This weekend, I don’t have as much homework as I always do. I have to do some vocab logs, and type up an introduction paragraph and body paragraphs… so maybe I could get more Simming done today?

I’m probably going to have to catch up with the Total Drama World Tour finale online this weekend, because I have to study for 3 quizzes Monday night. :/ And I’m worried that there will be an alternate ending, because the Total Drama people have alternate endings for different countries. So… reruns ftw?

I’m really impressed by the new Sims patch… you know, after spending like 4 days trying to fix it. I like the new half wall features, and making groups and stuff. It’s like buying Late Night without actually buying it!

I have to go back to gym this week. D: I don’t hate it, but it sucks in winter because the cardio day stuff is all gross indoor exercises. Like, the class is divided into freshmen boys, freshmen girls, sophomore boys, and sophomore girls. Then, there’s like 4 exercises: Jogging, jump roping, steps, and situps. And usually, the group before me sweats in the sit up place… so ew. I’d rather run outside. Oh, and my classes are really far away from the gym, so I’m probably going to be late a lot. And they already let us out late at gym… so yeah. Oh, and my hair gets ruined too, but that’s a minor issue. :P

I hate how Nickelodeon keeps on having all these random one hour specials and calling them movies. Now, like 60% of iCarly episodes are advertised as movies or specials.

Oh yeah. Last week, I went to Old Navy and they had a promotional decoration/sign thing that said ‘WOO HOO!!!!!!’. I was laughing. :P

Quick Post

Aw, my weekend is almost over. D: But…

  • Happy (belated) birthday AE! I didn’t really have a lot of time to go online today because I had to read Misery(And ohmygosh is that Anne Wilkes lady a creep or what?). I hope your day went great. :) I remember before I got The Sims 3, SS and I use to play Sims 2 Pets for the Wii. It was alright, but it got boring quickly. :P I hope your console game stays fun longer.
  • I think network executives hate me. I’ve noticed the main times I can watch TV, Friday afternoon until Sunday night, all of my favorite shows are on. At this moment, Roseanne, How I Met Your Mother, and The Nanny are all on. But I don’t know what to watch! D: HiMyM is on some local channel at like 7, and I’ve seen like at least 3/4ths of The Nanny episodes, so that should make things a bit easier, but eh.
  • Total Drama World Tour. I honestly think that the producers love Courtney’s voice actress a little too much. She’s treated as some high powered goddess in the show, and nobody calls her out for her attitude, and when they do, they will receive hell. I’ve rewatched the first 7 or 8 episodes of Action online, and so far, it's alright. I’m worried for Courtney’s return. *Shutters* And ugh, the season is almost over in the US. That means I’ll have to wait until summer, at least, for the new (short!) season. But Canada ends their season in February, so…? Teletoon better get their act together. :P

Oh, and it’s Daylight Savings Time… sometime today. So go change your clocks and stuff. :P

A Post?! On a Thursday Afternoon!?!

Helllloooooo everyone. I have no school today and tomorrow, because of a… teacher’s convention, I think? Anyway, I finally get to sleep in a little longer. :) I played Sims a lot yesterday, but sadly, I have homework to do in *counts* 4 or 5 classes? Yikes. So, ugh, I guess that evens things out. I knew this weekend was too good to be true. I have to study for a driver’s ed test, read Misery, do a Spanish worksheet, do 80 vocabulary flash cards and stuff for SAT prep, and (Optional) biology homework.

After the Sims patch, my game started to… get better!?! It’s no longer extremely dark, and it didn’t crash at all yesterday! I haven’t gone into CAS yet, so the sliders and sign features should be interesting. The only thing I want now is a patch/mod/whatever for more than 8 Sims per household. I wouldn’t go overboard, but just one or two more Sims in the house. The 8 Sim limit is so restricting. :/

[Political rant time. If you feel you might get offended, you know where the ‘close tab button’ is.]

And with this week’s election? My thoughts? Um, why were all the Republicans I know, online and on TV, saying ‘Yes, we won!’, not ‘Yes! We’re gonna fix the country!’? I mean, isn’t politics about fixing countries, not winning elections? And really? Are Republicans really saving us? Carl(?) Paladino from New York made openly homophobic statements, Sharron Angle made a racist commercial targeting minorities, and so on, yet they’re saving us? How is going backwards culturally going to get us out of this recession? I understand politics isn’t about abortion, the death penalty and gay marriage, but why do I see Republicans use those in their campaigns? What’s next? No civil or women’s rights because it’s ‘anti family’? Ugh. This is 2010, people. The fact that there was controversy over a children show’s puppet’s sexuality, or someone can’t marry who they want shows how sad our world is becoming. Especially if there are people in 3rd world countries dying because of natural disasters, food shortages, diseases, and droughts, and America only cares about 1 election? Yes, elections are important, but in two months, people will forget about the elections, but in two months, more people will die from diseases and disasters, and guess what? They can’t come back.

Yes, my main news source in Joy Behar. Why do you ask? :P

Awwww

Lily Allen has some sad news. She had a miscarriage this week. 6 months into her pregnancy. For the second time. :( I feel horrible for her, because she was so excited to be a mother and have kids.

And on Twitter a few months ago, she commented that she didn’t know who Justin Bieber was, and thought his voice was a girl singing, or something, and guess what angry Bieber fans wrote? ' Lily Allen lost her baby. This is the second time? LMFAO hahaa. i have no respect that the bitch. she dissed Justin bieber.' Alright JB fans, millions of people hate Justin Bieber, but you only hate Lily because she’s famous? A TWITTER INSULT IS NOT THE SAME AS LOSING A CHILD FOR THE SECOND TIME. This is why I hate Justin Bieber. Not because of the somewhat catchy music, or my new unrealistic hair expectations, but because of what kind of behavior he encourages. What is this world coming to? I understand Lily might be a tad grumpy sometimes, but aren’t we all? Is it her fault that she just has a famous Twitter account?

My thoughts and prayers go out to Lily and her family at this sad time for her.

Thank You VIDKID!

Thanks for helping SS and me with the patch issue. Our game works now! :D
